Call the Governor in Support of Health Care Partnership Act ( HB 5536)
The League believes every effort should be made to make affordable, quality health care available to all our state’s residents. The Health Care Partnership Act (HB 5536) not only enables municipal employees to join the state employees’ health insurance pool but also opens insurance savings opportunities for the employees of nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
Status: passed the House and Senate and awaits Governor’s approval. Call the Governor TODAY! Urge Gov. Rell to “sign HB 5536 An Act Concerning Establishing the CT Healthcare Partnership – CT residents deserve the same health care you have!”
