chance to attend one of the most
exciting Tennis events of the season.
And your chance to support the LWVCT as
well. LWV members not only are on top
of their public issues game, but enjoy
many other activities as well. Here is
a chance for you tennis aficionados to
enjoy one of your many other interests.

Tennis anyone? A
fun summer outing!
US Open Tickets
available and your chance to support the
LWVCT.
On the evening of
Monday, August 25, 2008 you can enjoy
some phenomenal tennis and support the
LWVCT. This also happens to be Opening
Day for the US Open. A box of six seats
facing the baseline of the court in Ashe
Stadium have been offered to the LWVCT.
These seats have excellent visibility.
They also include passes to the US Open
Club. The advantage of these passes is
that they allow patrons to enter the
facility even if the day matches are not
completed. Without these passes, you
are not permitted to enter until feature
matches are completed. OPENING DAY is
when EVERYONE is there. And these
tickets allow you to stroll the grounds
and view all the players either
practicing or playing their match!
Although the ticket time is 7:30 p.m.,
you may chose to arrive a bit earlier to
enjoy some action on the side courts.
This is a
wonderful opportunity to see something
new, take your children or
grandchildren, or give as a gift to
someone.
To help make your day stress free,
you will be driven to and from Ashe
Stadium by Teddy's Limos. This
alone is valued at $250. With your
bid of 4 tickets or more, your
driver will pick all of your group
up at one preset location,
determined by you. The limo will
also return to bring you home at a
time preset by your group. How
convenient and easy!
Starting asking
price for this fun summer event with
hassle-free transportation is $350 bid,
for 3 seats in a row. Or feel free to
bid for the full box of 6 seats at $600,
which is a row of 3 behind the front 3.

bidding, with the tickets going to the
highest bidder by 5:00 PM on July 17,
2008.
