Voter Registration of 2016 was a great success! Our objective was to register 500 folks in Southeastern Connecticut before the November election. We watched the count rise! And, by November 8th, we reached our goal! Hooray! We did it. 500 citizens registered to vote.

On National Voter Registration Day we registered people to vote at public libraries in Groton, New London and Norwich. Throughout the voting registration season, students were registered at high schools in Ledyard, Waterford, Stonington, Groton (Fitch), Grasso Tech, New London, and East Lyme. Students at Mitchell College were also registered to vote, as well as people at markets, festivals, etc.

Our Board Meetings are open, and they are held in local libraries (alternating in Groton and Waterford) on the second Monday of each month.
